“Literacy for Leaders” is a literacy program in an effort to improve the reading comprehension skills of at-risk youth in the Philadelphia area. The objective of this program is to have each student reading at a faster pace and higher grade level while simultaneously increasing their reading comprehension. The Literacy for Leaders program is designed to engage children in the early grades, Pre-K through five when students are most likely to develop sound study habits.
